100 Things

This is it. My 100th post! Now imagine me jumping high, feet kicked back, and fists in the air. That's my go-to celebration. (Not really.)

I would obviously look like Steve Carell, far right.

But I digress. 

 In honor of this momentous bloccasion (blog + occasion), I have created thought about creating a list of 100 things... ranging from meaningful to completely ridiculous.

And then I realized how many things that is! I don't have time for that! So here's what I'll do, I'll say "thanks" to those who keep coming back and seeing what this ol' broad has to say. I appreciate it!

Now on to the next 100 posts....

Dim Sum & Then Some

We are only eight months behind schedule, but we finally cashed in on a Christmas gift from Landon & his main gal. (Thank you!)

Mr. Malone and I took a cooking class this past weekend at Hipcooks - something I completely recommend! They have a ton of different classes to choose from, but we were dead set on attending the Dim Sum class.

What We Made:
-Steamed Shrimp Dumplings
-Chinese Chicken Stuffed Cabbage
-Scallion Pancakes with Shitake Mushrooms
-Seared Scallop Chow Mein
-Pork Lotus Blossoms
-Green Beans with Roasted Cashews
-Sweet Wontons with Dates, Walnuts & Orange

Not the actual kitchen we worked in, but the set-up was the same.

This would make for such a fun night with a group of friends. I'm thinking the next class I want to take is "Cocktail Party." What could be bad about that?!

Dos Años

Mr. Malone, can we go back to Mexico & live off of guacamole for two weeks? Even forever? (Although, maybe we should pick somewhere a bit safer.)

What I do know about forever is this - it's you.

Mr. Malone and I are very lucky to have two sets of parents who are still together.
And today is a very big day for my in-laws!

Here is wishing a very happy thirty years of marriage to Mama & Papa Malone.

USA! USA!

I freaking love the Olympics. Everything about them. I wish I could take two weeks off to sit at home and watch every single event, with an American flag draped over my shoulders & a Budweiser in hand.

I mean, c'mon. How else would you watch them?!

My makeshift Olympic rings. I obviously need to invest in Zen, Kelly & Regal before Rio 2016.

Besides the patriotism and competitive spirit, Bob Costas is really the epitome of the Olympic games. You just can't NOT love the shit that comes out of this guy's mouth. Amazing.

Here is hoping that NBC ups the Bob Costas factor and the good ol' US of A comes home with some hardware!
